Sometimes notifications may stop working due to updating your device software, so if you’ve checked that notifications are switched on within the Charge for Stripe app settings and also within your device settings (e.g. Settings->Notifications), please uninstall the app and then reinstall it from Google Play/App Store which should reset the connection to the notification server.
